I want to encourage you to be there as you are able. TheCall to the Mall, let’s pray for our land and God will answer us.” — Jack Hayford

“TheCall DC is going to be a true national solemn assembly. Bring your family, bring your sons and your daughters, your wife, your husband, your dogs, your cats, whatever you need to bring with you to be there! I’ll see you there!” — Rick Joyner

“Come to Washington DC, to the National Mall. August 16th. And hear TheCall DC for your life, your family, your state, and our nation. We will humble ourselves and pray and fast and seek the face of The Lord. God bless you and I’ll see you in Washington DC.” — Luis Palau

“I believe August 16th will be a significant day in the history of our nation. As hundreds of thousands gather to The Mall in Washington DC for prayer and fasting believing that God can turn our nation back to him.” — Mike Bickle

I attending this amazing prayer meeting! It was such an honor to be a part of a body of believers seeking the heart of God through fasting, weeping, and mourning.

The focus was to intercede for our nation. There was a time set aside for crying out to God for mercy for the sins of the people and the sins of our nation, corporate repentence, individual confession of sins, praying for the overturn of Roe V. Wade and for an adoption movement, confessing the sins of our forefathers in racism, praying for unity and racial harmony, praying for the Church, etc., and of course there was a lot of worship and praise in the process.

I felt God moving me to fast further, so now I am on day 8 of a Daniel Fast. It has been a humbling experience. My goal is to simply seek the heart of God.

Thanks for all this information. It has helped me immensely in my fast to know what I can eat and what I need to refrain from.

    God bless!

Be blessed and thanks for sharing about your links to “The Other Washington” 🙂

    Say Yes To God

Carrying a burden, it is an honor.
To be chosen, it is a privilege.
God is sovereign. God is wisdom.
    He appoints and ordains.
He does not err. He is love.
God’s being moves and dictates this entire universe.
    Every space He inhabits.
    God alone judges, decides.
Becoming one with Him is not a task to be undertaken.
It is an overtaking by Him to be transformed into the image of His Son.
It does not change. Nothing fancy.
    Nothing added. Nothing taken away.
What Jesus has established stands from now until eternity.

    It is finished.

How can we rejoice forever in heaven based solely on what Jesus did
if we are not always excited when we hear it in this temporary body,
if we are frustrated with God or
if we disobey Him because of what we see and feel here?
It has come down to me and God.
    Do I want God?
    I stand alone before Him.
Do I want His Love, His Power, His Purpose, His Light?

I must say YES to God.
    That is all.
