  1. This site is about the Daniel Fast. I encourage you to ask your health provider if a water-only fast would be wise for you.

By the way, very commonly people on the Daniel Fast experience a huge drop for high cholesterol and go into save levels in 21 days with food and not medication

    Hi Kat,
Foods high in vitamin K include spinach, asparagus, blackberries, blueberries, green beans, kiwifruit, and kale. And leafy green vegetables can decrease your medication’s effectiveness.” So, since these are a big part of meeting your nutritional needs on the fast, I encourage you to make a list of the fruits and vegetables that you can eat and calculate how much you’ll be missing and need to add back into meet your nutritional needs. Then modify the fast according to your health needs, you might even take a copy of the guidelines to your health care provider for their input. I hope this helps, Be Blessed on your Journey!

  5. I suggest you wait until your doctor approves of you going on a plant-based eating plan as some vegetables can interfere with warfarin. We are not medical professionals, so you should talk with your health provider.

If you still want to participate in the fast, but in a modified manner, you can still not consume processed foods, sugar and drink only water as your beverage. You can otherwise eat as your physician has directed.

    I hope this helps.
